Home Invest started with one goal that stands firm today: to help individuals create generational wealth that produces a positive ripple around the world.

Our Story

In 2014, Nate Armstrong set off on a mission to create a corporate “home” full of rewarding investment opportunities that helps truly people pursue and achieve financial freedom safely through real estate investment.

He began investing in single-family homes, flipping for himself and for others). Nate and his early team perfected the process through 500+ transactions and gained the respect of two Hedge Funds who believed in Home Invest’s mission and funded future growth. In the first four years, the firm quickly amassed 1,400 properties and grew our business by 1,418%. Nate and his Chief Operating Officer Rodney Kelley built a property management company and sold it to a national firm.

Original co-founder Dragan Berger was an essential partner to the company’s early success, and still serves as an active advisor and member of Home Invest’s Board of Directors. . Mr. Berger helped Nate pave a path that led Home Invest to debut as an INC 500 award winner as one of America’s fastest growing private companies #352 in 2018. The company also won a prestigious 2 comma club award from Click Funnel in the same year.

The company’s success cemented its corporate purpose to help others win at life as a company created to serve others. That’s why Home Invest openly shares our learnings and experiences through Home Invest Academy to help others build their real estate investment acumen and a profitable portfolio.

We seek to educate, encourage and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through our fund investments, and our Academy Training programs.

In 2024, Home Invest was blessed by a sizeable equity investment from Chris Lavin, the founder of BrightCove Investments, who has long been an investor and friend of the firm and stepped into his current role as Co-CEO of Home Invest.

Home Invest’s team had long admired Mr. Lavin as a professional businessman but it is his personal experiences of how he turned early personal adversity into real estate prominence that made him Nate’s perfect partner and Co-CEO. Overcoming childhood homelessness has shaped his determination and approach to business. In real estate, Chris combines his entrepreneurial success with a commitment to social impact, especially in aiding underprivileged children.

In every business venture he pursues, he applies his expertise to strategically grow the company while ensuring its success contributes to societal well-being. Today, Home Invest has become a faith-forward investment management firm and financial steward that places capital profitably into strategic real estate properties and businesses.

2.Shared Financial Contributions:

We invest our company’s capital alongside individual, limited investment partners via private equity funds and syndications, then share out the gains equitably for mutual benefit. We invest directly with sellers, removing intermediaries and inflated costs while protecting upside. We also hold the burden of managing our property portfolio, allowing our investors to passively invest, while we do the rest.
